Eminent industry experts, academia and government officials contribute to the panel discussions on a unique theme picked up every year. It all began when the first IFLC2018 was inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh Shri Ram Naik. In his inaugural address, Shri Naik narrated his story of understanding finance during his initial years as an accountant. Re-launch & unveiling of quarterly newsletter "AWOKE India Times" was done during this event.#IFLC2019 was a next step forward when the deliberations centered around the theme "From Financial Literacy to inclusive Prosperity". Panel discussions were aimed at preparing a success blueprint for 4 key segments of the society
a) Skill trainees,
b) Women;
c) Farmers; and
d) MSMEs & Start-Ups.
Over 400 participants benefitted from the deliberations and the outcome action plan execution is work in progress.The 3rd edition of #IFLC2020 was hosted on 6th & 7th November 2020 on virtual platform. IFLC2020 discussed a report on two previous conclaves and set the agenda rolling on holistic social development in a pilot village to be adopted by the team AWOKE India. Theme for IFLC2020 was "Making Inclusive Prosperity Happen"As we all know, that financial literacy intervention at all levels are key to attaining high GDP growth and meeting India's aspiration of achieving 5 trillion dollar economy by 2025. To achieve this goal and work towards an empowered society, AWOKE India stands committed to contribute towards this Goal and also SDGs 2030.
1. Putting Financial Literacy & Investor Education at the centre of key stakeholders' (Govt., FIs, VOs & others) attention; and
2. Coming out with key action points to help reach AWOKE India's Vision step by step and chalking out a roadmap for the ensuing year.
